Chevrolet redesigned the Traverse, but it’s still a roomy, family-friendly SUV. This midsize crossover has a sporty new look, and it’s now available in a rugged Z71 trim. The Chevy Traverse also has a new turbocharged engine, and it’s coming soon to the new inventory at Ciocca Chevrolet of Princeton.
Performance
You’ll be able to effortlessly merge onto I-195 in Trenton with the new Chevy Traverse. Its new turbocharged four-cylinder engine generates 315 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. The Traverse comes standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, but all-wheel drive is available. You can pull a boat to Centennial Lake near Lawrenceville with the Traverse, which is rated to tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Interior Design
Take a seat in the new Chevy Traverse and you’ll notice that it has a lower dash and a roomier center console. South Brunswick drivers will appreciate its improved accommodations, including more soft-touch materials and interesting textures. Fold all the rear seats down and you have 98 cubic feet of cargo space to store camping equipment or luggage.
Technology
You’ll love the Chevy Traverse’s revamped infotainment system, which now comes with a 17.7-inch infotainment display and an 11-inch digital gauge cluster. Its Google-based software interface allows Bordentown drivers to control most of its functions with voice commands. Other standard features in the new Traverse include:
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Tri-zone automatic climate control
- Automatic emergency braking
