Chevrolet is continually improving its full-size, light-duty Silverado 1500 pickup truck. For 2023, they've added more horsepower and torque to its turbodiesel engine. They also added a new Bison package to the ZR2 trim that can make off-road outings near South Brunswick even more thrilling. The 2023 Silverado 1500 still has the muscular capability and innovative technology you love, and it's available at Ciocca Chevrolet of Princeton.
Boost in Power for the Duramax Diesel Engine
Chevrolet improved the Silverado 1500's available Duramax diesel engine for 2023 by adding new pistons, a revised combustion bowl, and new fuel injectors. This enables an increase of 28 horsepower and 35 pound-feet of torque, so it now produces 305 horsepower and 495 pound-feet of torque. Trenton drivers will be glad to know that the Silverado 1500 can still tow up to 13,300 pounds and haul a max payload of 2,260 pounds when properly equipped.
Newly Available Bison Package
Chevrolet bolstered the Silverado 1500's off-road oriented ZR2 trim by adding the Bison package. Developed in partnership with American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), this bundle adds upgraded steel bumpers and multiple reinforced skid plates. People in Lawrenceville will like its stylish gloss-black wheels and black vertical front tow hooks. A Multi-Flex tailgate with a unique black finish rounds out the Bison package's model-specific features.
